In the three-phase stator winding of the three-phase asynchronous motor test bench, if the three-phase AC power is symmetrical, a rotating magnetic field will be generated, which rotates clockwise along the gap between the stator and rotor at a synchronous speed of n1. Due to the rental price of a rotating gasoline generator, the magnetic field rotates at n1 speed and remains stationary when the rotor conductor begins to rotate. Therefore, an induced electromotive force is generated when cutting the rotating magnetic field of the stator (using the right hand to determine the direction of the induced electromotive force). Under the action of induced electromotive force, due to the short-circuit ring connecting the two ends of the rotor conductor, an induced current that is basically in the same direction as the induced electromotive force will be generated inside the rotor conductor. In the stator magnetic field, the current carrying conductor of the rotor is subjected to electromagnetic force (the direction of the force is determined by the left-hand rule). The electromagnetic force generates electromagnetic torque on the rotor shaft, causing the rotor to move in the direction of the rotating magnetic field.

Based on the above analysis, the working principle of the three-phase asynchronous motor test bench can be summarized as follows: when the three-phase stator winding of the three-phase asynchronous motor is in a three-phase symmetrical AC current field, a rotating magnetic field will be generated, which will induce current in the rotor winding (the rotor winding is closed). The current carrying rotor conductor will generate electromagnetic force under the action of the stator rotating magnetic field, thus forming electromagnetic torque on the rotating shaft of the three-phase asynchronous motor and making the rotation direction of the motor consistent with the direction of the rotating magnetic field.
