Test results display the function, can automatically judge the test results (test pass or test failure), and can record the test product over-current, flash drop, or the voltage during the breakdown;
The sound reminder function of the test results. When the test passes or fails, the equipment will make different reminder sounds, and the test personnel can directly identify the test results by the sound.
The pause function is realized. In the automatic mode, this function can achieve the pause of boost or lowering at any point. The pause time can be flexibly controlled by the test personnel to observe the phenomenon in the test process.
Automatic timing function. In the automatic mode, when the voltage automatically rises to the set value, the device automatically starts the timing. When the timing time reaches and the test result is displayed, the device automatically returns to the zero position.

1. Series Resonant High Voltage Test System (A Type of AC Withstand Voltage Test)
Principle: Uses inductance and capacitance in series resonance to generate high voltage with low input power, suitable for large-capacity test objects.
Applications:
Cables: AC withstand voltage testing for long-distance power cables (e.g., cables above 10kV).
GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear): Withstand voltage tests for enclosed switchgear.
Transformers: AC withstand voltage tests for large power transformers (requires compensating reactors).
Generators: Power-frequency withstand voltage tests for high-capacity generators.

2. DC High Voltage Generator
Principle: Converts AC power into DC high voltage through rectification and filtering.
Applications:
Cables: DC withstand voltage tests (especially for XLPE cables, but residual charge risks must be considered).
Surge Arresters: DC reference voltage (U1mA) and leakage current tests for ZnO arresters.
Capacitors: DC withstand voltage and leakage current tests for high-voltage capacitors.

4. Power-Frequency AC Withstand Voltage Tester (Traditional AC Hipot)
Principle: Directly outputs 50Hz/60Hz high voltage to simulate real operating conditions.
Applications:
Transformers: Power-frequency withstand voltage tests for windings and bushings (e.g., factory tests).
Switchgear: Short-duration withstand voltage tests for circuit breakers and disconnectors.
Insulators: Withstand voltage tests for porcelain and composite insulators.
Power Systems: Insulation strength verification for standard electrical equipment (per IEC/GB standards).
Features: Directly simulates operational conditions, but equipment is bulky and requires high-current power for large-capacity test objects.
