This insulating boots(gloves) test device is an automated equipment specifically designed for conducting power frequency AC withstand voltage tests and leakage current tests on power insulated boots and gloves. The core purpose is to ensure that these important personal protective equipment have sufficient and safe electrical insulation performance before being put into use on site or during regular inspections, effectively protecting power workers from electric shock injuries.
Typical workflow (automation)
1. Preparation: The operator places the test sample (boots or gloves) in the designated position (such as hanging above the inner sink or placing it on the electrode holder). Place the corresponding electrodes inside the boots or gloves and connect them properly.
2. Startup: Select the test type (boots or gloves) on the touch screen, confirm the parameters (usually preset standard values), close the safety door, and click "Start Test".
3. Automatic water injection: The device automatically injects the specified level of saltwater into the inner and outer water tanks.
4. Automatic immersion: The lifting mechanism automatically lowers the suspended test sample (or inner water tank) to fully immerse the test sample in the saline solution in the inner water tank.
5. Automatic voltage boosting and testing:
The high-voltage generator steadily boosts the voltage at the set rate to the specified test voltage (such as 8kV for gloves and 20kV for boots).
After reaching the specified voltage, precise timing begins (usually 1 or 3 minutes).
Real time monitoring and recording of leakage current values.
6. Judgment and protection: If the leakage current exceeds the set limit during the boosting or withstanding process, the device will immediately automatically cut off the high voltage and sound an alarm, determining that the test sample is unqualified.
7. Automatic pressure reduction and drainage: After reaching the specified pressure resistance time, the high pressure automatically drops to zero. Then the device automatically starts the drainage system to drain the water in the sink.
8. Automatic reset: After the drainage is completed, the lifting mechanism automatically rises, making it convenient for the operator to remove the test sample.
9. Result display and recording: The touch screen displays the final test results (qualified/unqualified), test voltage, leakage current value, etc. The data is automatically saved to the database.
10. Report output: Operators can query historical records and print test reports at any time.
