(1) Experimenters should divide their work and cooperate, and clarify the methods of interconnection. And there are dedicated guardians on site to ensure safety and observe the testing status.
(2) The tested product should be clean and absolutely dry to avoid damaging the tested sample and errors caused by testing.
(3) During large-scale experiments, gas lift tests should generally be conducted first. When the voltage is not connected to the test sample, calibrate various instruments and adjust the gap.
(4) The boosting speed cannot be too fast, sudden pressure must be prevented. For example, if a sudden voltage regulator does not close at zero, the power cannot be suddenly cut off. Usually, the regulator's gate should be pulled down to zero.
(5) When the voltage rises to the test voltage, start timing and after 1 minute, quickly drop to 1/3 of the test voltage, and then power on.
(6) If any of the following abnormal phenomena are found during the boost or withstand voltage test, please immediately reduce the voltage, cut off the power, stop the test, and investigate the cause: ① The pointer of the voltmeter swings greatly; ② Discovery of insulation layer burning or smoking. ③ The tested product has abnormal sound.
(7) The insulation resistance should be measured before and after the withstand voltage test to check the insulation condition.
