Series resonant withstand voltage tester: Using the principle of series resonance, by adjusting the output frequency of the variable frequency controller, the inductance L of the reactor in the circuit and the capacitance C of the test sample undergo series resonance, and the resonance voltage is the voltage applied to the test sample. This device is widely used in industries such as power, metallurgy, petroleum, and chemical engineering, and is suitable for high-capacity, high-voltage capacitive samples such as generators and transformers GIS, Handover and preventive tests for high-voltage cross-linked cables, transformers, bushings, etc.
Working principle of series resonance withstand voltage tester
Power is provided through a frequency modulation controller, and the test voltage is initially boosted by an excitation transformer to apply high voltage to the reactor L and the test sample CX. By changing the output frequency of the frequency modulation controller, the circuit is in series resonance state; Adjust the output voltage of the variable frequency controller to achieve the required voltage value for the high voltage on the test sample. The resonant frequency of the circuit depends on the capacitance CX of the test sample and the inductance L of the reactor.
Test method for series resonant withstand voltage tester
First, lower the low voltage to the resonance point of the system, then increase the amplitude of the test voltage to reach the specified voltage value on the test sample. After maintaining the specified time at the secondary voltage, lower the voltage to zero to complete the entire test process
Malfunction and Causes of Series Resonant Voltage Endurance Tester
1. The host cannot find the resonance point.
Reason: The resonance point of the system is outside the output frequency range of the host; System wiring error; The system is not reliably grounded; High voltage sampling feedback signal open circuit or unreliable connection; The test sample has a malfunction.
2. Host reset.
Reason: Fluctuations in the power supply of the host; External strong magnetic field interference; The host is not reliably grounded;
3. A low Q value means that the voltage cannot rise or does not rise high.
Reason: (1) The capacitance of the reactor does not match that of the test sample, and the resonance point cannot be accurately found;
(2) The sample loss is high and the system Q value is too low;
(3) The high voltage output voltage of the excitation transformer is low;
(4) The high-voltage connecting wire is too long or does not use a high-voltage discharge line
