The phenomenon where the voltage at the circuit end is in phase with the total current in a series circuit of resistors, inductors, and capacitors is called series resonance. The characteristics of series resonance are: the circuit is purely resistive, the terminal voltage is in phase with the total current, the reactance X is zero, and the impedance Z is equal to the resistance R. At this time, the circuit impedance decreases and the current increases, which may generate high voltages several times the power supply voltage on the inductance and capacitance, so series resonance also becomes voltage resonance.


The performance characteristics of series resonance are as follows:

2. Test voltage, frequency range, protection current, and pressurization time can be set.

4. It has grounding and flashover protection functions. When the measured object flashover or other reasons cause the resonant circuit to suddenly lose resonance, the variable frequency control power supply will automatically and quickly cut off the output, and display the protection type and flicker voltage value;


5. Automatically track changes in grid voltage, adjust voltage in real-time, and maintain high voltage stability.


6. Reactors of the same voltage level and capacity have small volume, light weight, low temperature rise under rated load, dry epoxy resin casting, high mechanical strength, good electrical insulation performance, and are aesthetically pleasing and reliable.


7. The variable frequency power supply control box has a large capacity margin, strong protection function, good output waveform, and is compatible with single-phase 220V or three-phase 380V input power supply, making it convenient for on-site power supply.
