Its core mission is to simulate the working state of batteries in the real world (charging and discharging), and accurately measure and record the key performance parameters of batteries during this process.

What is it mainly used for?

1. Capacity testing: This is the most essential function. Measure how much electricity a battery can release under specific conditions (such as a certain discharge current), usually measured in ampere hours (Ah) or kilowatt hours (kWh). This is the most important indicator for determining the age and health (SOH) of a battery. Is the new battery up to standard? How much capacity is left in the old battery? You can tell with just one test.

2. Performance verification: Verify whether the battery meets the specifications claimed by the manufacturer, commonly used in battery factory inspection, receiving acceptance, and other processes.

3. Cycle life testing: Repeatedly charge and discharge the battery to test how many cycles the capacity of the battery will decay to a certain extent, used for research and quality evaluation.

4. Internal resistance test: Measure the internal resistance of the battery. Internal resistance is a key indicator for measuring the health status of a battery. An increase in internal resistance can lead to a decrease in battery efficiency and severe heating. Generally, the larger the internal resistance, the worse the battery performance.

5. Activation and maintenance: For lead-acid batteries with performance degradation due to long-term float charging, standardized charge discharge cycles can activate their active substances and restore partial capacity.
