A DC hipot tester is a high-voltage test instrument used to test the withstand voltage performance of electrical equipment and insulating materials. It checks the insulation strength, withstand voltage performance and leakage of the equipment or components under test by applying a DC high voltage higher than the rated working voltage to ensure that the electrical equipment will not have electrical breakdown or leakage accidents during operation.

High-precision Measurement
The voltage and current measurement accuracy of the DC hipot tester are both ±1.0%. This level of accuracy far exceeds the ±2% or ±3% accuracy testers commonly found on the market. When measuring 1000V voltage, our maximum error is ±12V, while the ±2% accuracy of competing products can reach ±20V. This means that our equipment can detect smaller insulation defects, greatly improving the reliability of electrical safety testing.
Strong Voltage Stability
When the power supply voltage fluctuates within the range of ±10%, the output voltage of our DC hipot tester does not change by more than ±1%. In contrast, the output fluctuation of many similar products on the market can reach ±2% or even higher. Strong voltage stability ensures the consistency of each test result and avoids different test results due to voltage fluctuations.
Strong Overload Capacity
The DC hipot tester can withstand a no-load voltage not exceeding 10% of the rated voltage for 10 minutes, and the maximum charging current can reach 1.25 times the rated current. In comparison, the overload capacity of most similar products on the market is usually only 1.1 times the rated value, and the duration is also shorter (about 5 minutes).
