Megger Test (Insulation Resistance Test):

Method: A hipot test involves applying a high voltage (often higher than the normal operating voltage) between conductive parts of the equipment and the ground or other conductive parts. The insulation system is stressed to determine whether it can withstand the applied voltage without breakdown or insulation failure.
