Product introduction

The Fully Automatic Surface Tension Tester is a key tool used in modern laboratories for precise, efficient, and convenient measurement of liquid surface tension and interfacial tension. It achieves complete automation of the measurement process by integrating precise mechanical control, sensitive sensing technology (mechanical or optical), and powerful intelligent software, significantly improving data accuracy and repeatability, freeing up manpower, and expanding the possibilities of complex experiments. Its application covers many scientific research and industrial fields such as chemical, pharmaceutical, materials, food, energy, etc. It is an indispensable tool for understanding and controlling interface phenomena. With the development of technology, its level of automation, intelligence, and application scope are still constantly improving.

Working principle

The working principle of this instrument is to apply the high-frequency induction small displacement automatic balance measurement system to the torsion balance. When the force acting on the platinum ring changes, the balance rod connected to the platinum ring will produce displacement in the two eddy current probes, causing the inductance generated in the two eddy current probes to change. This will cause the differential transformer to lose balance, and the input signal of the differential amplifier in the circuit will also lose balance. After amplification by the amplifier, an electrical signal that changes with the force on the platinum ring will be output. This signal is sent to the microprocessor for processing, and the actual tension of the tested sample will be automatically calculated according to international GB6541.

Environmental conditions

Temperature: Keep the ambient temperature relatively constant (usually recommended within the range of 15 ° C to 35 ° C, refer to the instructions for details), and avoid severe fluctuations. Temperature changes can affect sample properties and sensor accuracy. Keep away from heat sources such as ovens and heaters.
Humidity: Avoid excessive humidity (generally<80%) to prevent electronic components from getting damp or condensing.
Dust free: Keep the work area clean to prevent dust from entering the instrument or contaminating the sample/measuring unit.
No wind/no airflow: Avoid air flow caused by direct blowing of fans, air conditioners, or frequent movement of personnel, which greatly affects surface tension measurement.

development trend

Higher degree of automation: more advanced automatic sampler, automatic cleaning and drying module.
Multi method integration: One instrument integrates board method, ring method, optical method (hanging/lying drop), bubble pressure method, and even contact angle measurement.
Wider application range: Enhanced measurement capability under extreme conditions (high temperature, high pressure, ultra-low temperature).
Smarter software: AI assisted image recognition and contour fitting, more powerful data analysis and modeling capabilities, cloud connectivity and remote access.
Miniaturization and portability: meet the needs of rapid on-site testing (some models).
Complies with stricter regulations: enhances data integrity, electronic signatures, audit trail functionality
