YDQ gas type AC DC hipot test sets generally refer to voltage boosting test equipment used for various high-voltage power and electrical equipment testing and preventive testing. However, traditional oil immersed test transformers, constrained by their structure, are increasingly unable to meet the needs of modern fast and efficient test site work in terms of volume, weight, and performance. Inflatable transformers are produced using new materials and processes, with highly optimized volume and weight. Especially with the use of the new insulation medium SF6 gas (efficient insulation, arc extinguishing, and non flammable), its safety performance has been significantly improved. 1, Small size and light weight
YDQ AC DC hipot test sets have significant advantages of small size and light weight, which makes them easy to transport and handle on site. Especially in situations where space is limited or devices need to be frequently moved, such as field work and temporary testing sites, it is more convenient to use. Compared to traditional oil immersed test transformers, the weight of gas filled test transformers may be reduced by 20% to 60% (depending on the voltage and capacity level).

2, Good insulation performance
This type of transformer uses SF6 gas as the insulation medium. SF6 gas has excellent insulation performance and high insulation strength. At a pressure of 0.25MPa, its breakdown voltage is equal to that of oil; At a pressure of 0.45MPa, it is twice the breakdown voltage of oil. Moreover, there is basically no partial discharge phenomenon under high voltage, and the local discharge of the test sample can be accurately measured, thereby ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the experiment.

3, Excellent arc extinguishing performance
SF6 gas not only has good insulation performance, but also excellent arc extinguishing performance. This can quickly extinguish the arc phenomenon that may occur during the experiment, providing strong protection for the safety of equipment and personnel.

Inflatable test transformers are not affected by harsh weather conditions and can maintain stable performance under high, low, or humid environmental conditions.
