Product introduction
Designed as an all-in-one solution for CT/PT validation, this portable intelligent UHV-109A CT PT Turns Ratio Tester performs essential tests: excitation characteristic curves (for saturation analysis), turns ratio verification, and polarity determination. Its integrated design enables accurate assessment of critical parameters-including ratio error, phase displacement, and name terminals-through automated procedures. The tester enhances grid safety by guaranteeing measurement accuracy and protective relay coordination, serving as an indispensable tool for commissioning, maintenance, and compliance testing of instrument transformers.

Test Lead and Accessory Maintenance
1.Inspection: Before and after each use, inspect test leads (HV lines, current leads, signal cables) for insulation damage, cracks, and plugs/clips for looseness, deformation, corrosion, or poor contact.
2.Cleaning: Keep leads clean, especially the metal contacts of plugs/clips. Gently remove oxidation with fine-grit sandpaper or contact cleaner if necessary.
3.Replacement: Immediately stop using and replace damaged leads (e.g., broken insulation, internal breaks, high contact resistance) with original or equivalent quality accessories. Using damaged leads can cause inaccurate readings, instrument damage, or safety hazards.

Troubleshooting and Repair

1.Consult Manual: If the instrument malfunctions (e.g., won't power on, abnormal display, obviously wrong results, overtemperature alarm), first consult the troubleshooting guide in the manual.
2.No User Repair: Never attempt to open the chassis for repair without professional knowledge and tools! Internal components include hazardous high-voltage capacitors, and precision circuits are sensitive to ESD.
3.Professional Repair: If the issue persists after confirming it's not caused by operation or external factors (e.g., power, test leads), contact the instrument manufacturer or their authorized service center for diagnosis and repair. Provide a detailed description of the fault.
Safety Precautions
1.Discharge Procedure: Always fully discharge the HV output terminals of the instrument and the tested mutual inductor using the instrument's built-in discharge function or a discharge rod before disconnecting leads after Volt-Ampere testing (especially high-voltage tests), to prevent electric shock from residual voltage.
2.Grounding: Strictly follow the manual's grounding requirements to ensure test safety.
3.Operational Compliance: Strictly adhere to the instrument's operating procedures and safety rules.
