The cable fault tester can be used to detect low resistance, high resistance, short circuit, open circuit, leakage and flashover faults of various cables. It can accurately locate the cable fault point, measure the cable length, and detect the buried path and depth of the cable. The whole cable fault test system consists of three main parts: flash test, tracing and fixed point test.

Multifunctional Integration
The cable fault tester integrates three functional modules of flash test, path tracking and fixed point test, realizing "one machine for multiple uses". Users can complete the whole process test from initial fault judgment to precise positioning without carrying multiple devices. This not only saves equipment investment, but also reduces the equipment carrying weight by more than 50%.

Long Test Distance
The cable fault tester can test cables up to 15 kilometers. In contrast, the maximum test distance of mainstream cable fault testers on the market is only 10 kilometers. This ultra-long distance testing capability makes it particularly suitable for fault detection of long-distance lines such as urban power networks and cross-sea cables.

Strong Signal Processing Capability
The electromagnetic channel receiving sensitivity of the cable fault tester is as high as <5μV, and the gain can reach 110dB. In contrast, most products on the market have only 10μV sensitivity and 100dB gain. This signal processing capability enables the device to accurately capture weak fault signals in complex electromagnetic environments.

Strong Anti-interference Ability
The power frequency suppression of the cable fault tester can reach >40dB, while most products on the market can only reach 30-35dB. Therefore, even in a strong electromagnetic interference environment, such as near high-voltage transmission lines or industrial areas, the effective measurement distance of the cable fault tester is still about 15-20% longer than that of ordinary equipment.

Depth Detection Capability
The cable fault tester can detect cables buried up to 3 meters deep. In contrast, similar products can only detect cables at a depth of 2-2.5 meters. This depth detection capability can help engineers accurately locate the position of deeply buried cables and avoid damage to the cables during excavation.
